NOTICE OF NONDISCRIMINATION

Uinta County School District does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, marital status, sex, religion, disability, age, genetic information, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, or veteran status in its programs and activities and provides equal access to the Boy Scouts and other designated youth groups. Such protection extends to both employees and students.

The employees designated to coordinate schools’ compliance with civil rights laws play an essential role in ensuring that all students in the United States, regardless of their race, color, national origin, sex, or disability, have equal educational opportunities. Some schools designate one employee to coordinate compliance with all applicable civil rights laws. Other schools designate one or more employees to coordinate compliance with individual civil rights laws. These employees may have different titles at different schools (e.g., civil rights coordinators, equity coordinators, Title IX coordinators, Title VI coordinators, Section 504/ADA coordinators, disability rights coordinators, etc.).

Grievance procedures have been established for students, their parents and employees who feel discrimination has been shown by the School District. Any person having inquiries concerning the school’s compliance with the regulations implementing Title VI, Title IX, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504, or other related civil rights laws is directed to contact Jeffrey M.
